This is another Dutch pop group that recorded a Michael d'Abo song. Roek's
Family scored many hits in Holland like the title track of this album "Get
Yourself A Ticket", which reached number 11 in the Dutch charts in February
1969. They put the Michael d'Abo song "Handbags And Gladrags" on this album, and
they do it in a great way. Roek's Family made it a bit more progressive and I
think that this is one of the best versions I've heard so far of this much
covered song.
